Spectacular 4th night of DIFF 2025

On the evening of June 21, with the theme of “Sustainable Development”, the 4th night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 was the most spectacular performance of the event to date with the largest number of fireworks in the qualifying round. Two teams from Europe brought eye-catching performances, a subtle combination of modern fireworks techniques and humane messages, making the entire audience burst into surprise and excitement.

Attending the event were Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Quang; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh; Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh; Chairman of the City People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Van Trung; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.

Emotional performance

As expected, the Portuguese “newcomer” brought a passionate and profound performance with the work “The Great Concert of Light for a Green Future”. With nearly 100 years of experience and reputation in the European fireworks industry, the Macedos Pirotecnia team has a skillful performance technique that blends and matches precisely with the music . The team takes the audience through different emotions, initially passionate and boiling with the famous hit of the rock band Scorpions “Rock You Like A Hurricane”, then moving to the melody with the familiar song “Thuong Qua Viet Nam” accompanied by birds of light flying in the sky, series of “sunrise” effect fireworks spreading full of emotions.

Ending with symphonies and typical fireworks effects such as comets, waterfalls of light, volcanic cannons... painting the sky a vivid world of light, conveying the message of protecting the green planet in a language that is both majestic and subtle.

Meanwhile, the Pyrotex Fireworx team from the UK returned to the Han River with a performance that was likened to a poetic cinematic concert called “Emotional Waves”. With about 8,000 individually designed fireworks, each chapter of the performance was a pillow music, leading the audience from gentleness and romance to excitement and sublimation. The opening part was as quiet as a love song written in the deep ocean. But then suddenly accelerated with a familiar cinematic soundtrack from the 007 - James Bond series, taking the audience into a world of dramatic action.

Immediately after that, the atmosphere turned cheerful and familiar with a series of Vietnamese songs such as Nguoi Hay Thon Em Di (My Tam), Noi Nay Co Anh (Son Tung M-TP) resounded, making the entire Vietnamese audience burst into laughter with delight. The audience not only watched but also sang along, swayed, and joined in the emotional joy. The final part of the performance brought the audience back to timeless masterpieces: Canto Della Terra, Live and Let Die, Dancing Queen, Future World Music... all blended into a mesmerizing symphony of fireworks.

Musician Nguyen Duc Trinh shared: “Although Portugal is a rookie, they brought a symphony of light, especially creative and novel. The performance brought many emotions, sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes painful, sometimes screaming... This is really a strong team in this year's DIFF season. If Portugal brought a fiery rock concert, England is a symphony of many styles, from action, romance to cinema... all blended into one "emotional wave" that makes the audience immersed without a way out. The highlight of the England team is always creating classic colors and exploding in the sky with splendid colors, especially the extremely brilliant ending in the sky", musician Nguyen Duc Trinh said.

Da Nang reaches new heights with fireworks festival

After 4 competition nights, DIFF 2025 left a strong impression on the hearts of locals and tourists. Ms. Ngo Thi Thinh (60 years old, a tourist from Hanoi) said that she had been to many places and seen many fireworks displays, but this was the first time she had seen such a grand scale of a fireworks festival and such a wonderful performance. "What moved me most was that Da Nang organized a large-scale event that not only attracted domestic and foreign tourists but also helped the whole world know about our beautiful and increasingly developing country," Ms. Thinh said.

For tourist Ahmed Alqasimi (from the United Arab Emirates - UAE), Da Nang has become a popular destination. He is impressed by the natural beauty of the city, he likes to walk on the beaches, hike up Son Tra mountain, visit Ba Na... As for DIFF 2025, he thinks this is a wonderful event, contributing to making the city more vibrant.

Meanwhile, according to Mr. Sandeep Arya, Ambassador of India to Vietnam, DIFF is becoming a major attraction for international tourists, including tourists from India. Da Nang inherently possesses rare natural beauty, with wonderful landmarks such as Ba Na Hills, next to Hoi An, which has both heritage value and modernity. DIFF 2025 adds a unique feature to the city, making it an extremely attractive destination overall.

Unique music night on the banks of the Han River

The 4th competition night of DIFF 2025 is not only a spectacular fireworks display, but also a complete art party of sound, light and emotion. The performances were elaborately staged, stirring up the atmosphere by the Han River such as: the song "Ngau hung bai choi" by musician Pham Hong Bien performed by singer To My, Rapper Nam Son, Trung Vuong Dance Group, MTE Dance Group; the songs "Thuy Than", "May va nui" performed by singer Dong Hung, singer Hong Minh; Saxophone Pham Tai with Trung Vuong Dance Group, and MTE Dance Group brought visitors into a youthful and fun musical space with the song "Feel it still"; stirring up the stage with the song "Training Season" performed by Lam Bao Ngoc and artists from Trung Vuong Dance Group, MTE Dance Group. Not only stopping at performing arts, outdoor virtual reality technology Sky AR continues to make its mark. Sky AR connects audiences with the festival in a new way and shows Da Nang's strong progress in applying digital technology to enhance tourism.
