Spectacular fourth night of DIFF 2025

On the evening of June 21st, with the theme "Sustainable Development," the fourth night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 was the most spectacular performance to date, featuring the largest number of fireworks in the qualifying round. An emotional performance

As expected, the Portuguese "newcomer" delivered a performance that was both passionate and profound with their work, "A Grand Light Concert for a Green Future." With nearly 100 years of experience and a reputation in the European fireworks industry, the Macedos Pirotecnia team displayed masterful technique, seamlessly blending and synchronizing with the music . The team took viewers through a range of emotions, starting with the fervent energy of the famous hit "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by the rock band Scorpions, then transitioning to the melodious tune of "I Love Vietnam So Much," accompanied by luminous birds soaring across the sky and emotionally charged "sunrise" effect fireworks.

The show concludes with symphonies and signature fireworks effects such as comets, light cascades, and volcanic fireworks, successively painting a vibrant world of light across the sky, conveying a message of protecting the green planet in a language that is both majestic and subtle.

Meanwhile, Pyrotex Fireworx from the United Kingdom returned to the Han River with a performance likened to a poetic cinematic concert titled "Waves of Emotion." With approximately 8,000 uniquely designed fireworks, each act in the performance was a musical introduction, guiding viewers from gentle and romantic to exhilarating and sublime. The opening was a tranquil space, like a love song written in the depths of the ocean. But then it unexpectedly accelerated with a series of familiar cinematic soundtracks from the 007 - James Bond series, transporting viewers into a world of dramatic action.

Immediately afterwards, the atmosphere shifted to a cheerful and intimate one with a series of Vietnamese songs such as "Người hãy quên em đi" (My Tam) and "Nơi này có anh" (Son Tung M-TP), causing the entire Vietnamese audience to erupt in laughter and delight. The audience not only watched but also sang along, swaying and joining in the joyful, emotional atmosphere. The final part of the performance brought the audience back to timeless masterpieces: Canto Della Terra, Live and Let Die, Dancing Queen, Future World Music… all blended together in a mesmerizing fireworks symphony.

Composer Nguyen Duc Trinh shared: “Although a newcomer, Portugal presented a symphony of light that was particularly creative and innovative. Their performance evoked many emotions, from joy to sadness, from pain to cheers… This is truly a strong team in this year's DIFF. While Portugal delivered a fiery rock concert, England presented a harmonious blend of styles, from action and romance to cinema… all merging into a wave of emotions that captivated viewers. The highlight of the English team was their ability to create classic colors and explosive displays in the sky, especially the incredibly brilliant ending,” said composer Nguyen Duc Trinh.

Da Nang elevates its status with the fireworks festival.

Over the course of four nights of competition, DIFF 2025 left a strong impression on both locals and tourists. Ms. Ngo Thi Thinh (60 years old, a tourist from Hanoi) said that she had traveled to many places and seen many fireworks displays, but this was the first time she had seen a fireworks festival of such a grand scale and such a spectacular performance. “What moved me most was that Da Nang organized such a large-scale event, not only attracting domestic and international tourists but also letting the whole world know that our country is beautiful and developing,” Ms. Thinh said.

For tourist Ahmed Alqasimi (from the United Arab Emirates - UAE), Da Nang has become a popular destination. He is impressed with the city's natural beauty and enjoys strolling along the beaches, hiking up Son Tra mountain, and visiting Ba Na Hills. Regarding DIFF 2025, he considers it a wonderful event that will further enliven the city.

Meanwhile, according to Mr. Sandeep Arya, the Indian Ambassador to Vietnam, DIFF is becoming a major attraction for international tourists, including those from India. Da Nang already possesses rare natural beauty, with amazing landmarks such as Ba Na Hills, and next to it is Hoi An, which combines heritage value with modern features. DIFF 2025 will add another unique feature to the city, making it an incredibly attractive destination overall.

A unique music festival on the banks of the Han River.

The fourth night of DIFF 2025 was not only a spectacular fireworks display, but also a complete artistic feast encompassing sound, light, and emotion. The meticulously staged performances enlivened the atmosphere along the Han River, including: the song "Ngẫu hứng bài chòi" by composer Phạm Hồng Biển, performed by singer Tố My, rapper Nam Sơn, Trưng Vương Dance Troupe, and MTE Dance Troupe; the songs "Thủy Thần" and "Mây và núi" performed by singers Đông Hùng and Hồng Minh; saxophone player Phạm Tài and the Trưng Vương and MTE Dance Troupes transporting visitors to a youthful and lively musical space with the song "Feel it still"; and electrifying the stage with "Training Season" performed by Lâm Bảo Ngọc and artists from the Trưng Vương and MTE Dance Troupes. Beyond the artistic performances, the outdoor virtual reality technology Sky AR continued to make its mark. Sky AR connects audiences with the festival in a novel way and demonstrates Da Nang's strong progress in applying digital technology to elevate tourism.
