The first Autumn Fair attracted over 1 million visitors.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The Prime Minister assessed that the Autumn Fair attracted more than 1 million visitors and thousands of trade deals worth nearly 5,000 billion VND, opening up new directions for the development of Vietnam's trade promotion activities.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the first Autumn Fair - 2025 on the evening of November 3rd, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that the event marked a good start, opening a new chapter for a series of national trade, investment, and cultural promotion events of international stature in Vietnam in the new era.

"The fair attracted over 1 million visitors, thousands of trade deals, contracts, and memoranda of understanding for investment cooperation and technology transfer between domestic and foreign businesses, with a commercial value of nearly 5,000 billion VND," the Prime Minister said.

"Trade fairs are an effective channel for stimulating domestic consumption, an important driving force for promoting production, import and export, a positive way to renew traditional growth drivers, a dynamic bridge connecting international trade cooperation, and creating momentum for the development of the domestic market in the digital age," the Prime Minister assessed.

The head of government assessed the success of the first Autumn Fair - 2025 as a confirmation that the Vietnamese market is not only attractive in terms of scale and development speed, but also a safe, friendly, promising, and appealing destination for domestic and international investors.

The Prime Minister requested that, based on the results of this fair, the Ministry of Industry and Trade proactively develop a model for organizing an annual, professional, modern, and efficient Autumn Fair, and urgently propose a plan to successfully organize the first Spring Fair Conference in 2026.

"Ministries, sectors, and localities need to seize opportunities from the trade fair, transforming trade results into concrete projects and products that serve daily life and socio-economic development. Businesses should continue to innovate, affirm Vietnamese brands, develop sustainably, and demonstrate social responsibility. International partners should cooperate in collaboration, technology transfer, and training of green and digital human resources," the Prime Minister urged.

The first Autumn Fair - 2025 will be the largest ever held in Vietnam, covering a total area of ​​130,000m2, with 3,000 standard booths, bringing together 2,500 businesses and organizations.

According to the organizers, the fair attracted an average of 100,000 visitors per day, the highest among domestic trade promotion events. Average revenue reached 300 million VND per standard booth over 10 days.

Total direct revenue reached nearly 1 trillion VND, of which the local exhibition area accounted for 50 billion VND. The total value of transactions, contracts, and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) reached nearly 5 trillion VND, with the local exhibition area alone accounting for nearly 500 billion VND.

Within the framework of the fair, the organizers also held 11 conferences, seminars, and thematic forums, selected 30 outstanding booths, and continuously organized international trade programs with businesses from Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, New Zealand, and the European Union; recording more than 100 cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding signed.

According to the organizers, the fundraising program to support people in Central Vietnam affected by floods and storms, launched by the Prime Minister at the opening ceremony, has so far raised 316 billion VND from state-owned enterprises, corporations, and private businesses, demonstrating the social responsibility and sharing spirit of the Vietnamese business community.
