60th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee

Attending the conference were Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; delegates from the Central Party Committees and the Central Party Office; leaders of the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of several provincial departments and agencies.

Comrade Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the meeting.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee focused on providing feedback on the draft list of 10 outstanding events and achievements of Tuyen Quang province in 2024. Accordingly, the 10 outstanding events and achievements of Tuyen Quang province in 2024 were comprehensively selected across various fields: politics , economics, culture and society, national defense, security, and foreign affairs. The delegates generally agreed with the content of the events drafted by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

Delegates suggested that the selection of outstanding events and achievements should be qualitative, quantitative, and have a positive and widespread impact, fostering consensus among the people. The content of the selected events should be practical, focused, effective, and appropriate to the province's actual situation; promoting creativity, positive impact, and widespread influence to create consensus among the people.

Comrade Nong Thi Bich Hue, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department, and Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, delivered a speech at the conference.

The Provincial Party Secretary noted that the selected outstanding events must demonstrate the leadership and guidance of the Party Committee and government, with a breakthrough and strong impact on the province's development in 2024. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department will incorporate the discussion points to supplement and adjust the draft of the 10 outstanding events and achievements of the province in 2024. This aims to enhance the effectiveness of information dissemination on the province's socio -economic development results in 2024; and to promote the province's culture, people, land, potential, and advantages to domestic and international friends.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan delivered a speech at the conference.

The 60th meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee also discussed regulations on funding levels and support from the state budget for implementing certain policies on forest protection and development in the province; amendments and additions to regulations on policies to encourage the development of organic agricultural production in the province; the policy on converting forest land to other uses for projects in the province; amendments and additions to regulations on part-time personnel; personnel participating in activities at the village, hamlet, and residential group levels; the allocation of operating funds at the commune, village, and residential group levels in the province; adjustments to the 2021-2025 medium-term public investment plan using local budget funds; the 2025 public investment plan using local budget funds for Tuyen Quang province (phase 2); and adjustments to the investment policy for the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project (phase 1).   and other important content.
