Scientific conference on innovation in teaching philosophy and Ho Chi Minh's thought.

Cuu Long University organized the national scientific conference 'Innovation in teaching and learning Marxist-Leninist science and Ho Chi Minh Thought in Vietnamese universities today'.

On April 19th, Cuu Long University organized a national scientific conference with the theme "Innovating the teaching and learning of Marxist-Leninist science and Ho Chi Minh Thought in Vietnamese universities today".

Attending the workshop were Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province; leaders of political schools from provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta; and approximately 110 scientists who are leading experts in Marxist-Leninist science and Ho Chi Minh Thought.

In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Luong Minh Cu, Rector of Cuu Long University, stated that the conference is of paramount importance in achieving the goals of the national education system, aiming to comprehensively develop Vietnamese people with ethics, knowledge, culture, health, aesthetics, and professional skills; possessing qualities, abilities, and civic consciousness; having patriotism, national spirit, and loyalty to the ideals of national independence and socialism; promoting the potential and creativity of each individual; raising the intellectual level of the people, developing human resources, nurturing talents, and meeting the requirements of national construction, defense, and international integration.

This affirms the importance, scientific value, and vitality of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; the study, application, and development of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in the new situation; and solutions to improve the quality of lecturers teaching Marxist-Leninist science and Ho Chi Minh Thought.

The conference received 195 papers from 230 authors, including scientists, leaders, and lecturers from universities, colleges, academies, and local political schools. The conference featured 10 direct presentations and many practical and insightful contributions from experts in the fields of Marxist-Leninist science and Ho Chi Minh Thought.

The workshop aims to create opportunities for exchanging and connecting knowledge among scientists in the fields of Marxist-Leninist science and Ho Chi Minh Thought. Particularly in the context of globalization and international integration, the research and teaching of Marxist-Leninist science and Ho Chi Minh Thought is one of the key tasks of ideological and professional work in universities in Vietnam.
