Workshop Say No to Illegal Use of Wildlife

(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of May 28, Cat Tien National Park coordinated with the Forest Protection Department of Region III and the Wildlife Conservation Center in Vietnam to organize a workshop to summarize the series of activities Say No to the illegal use of wildlife in Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces.

The workshop aims to launch and widely propagate to all classes of people in Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces about not using illegal wildlife and implementing the decisions and directives of the Prime Minister related to this issue.

In addition, the workshop also aims to promote and strengthen inter-sectoral coordination, improve the effectiveness of crime prevention and combat against biodiversity violations and prevent illegal hunting, transportation, trading, storage and use of wildlife in Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces.

The Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize of the Speaking for the Speechless 2025 Eloquence Contest to Phuoc Cat Secondary School.

During the Workshop, delegates from participating units discussed and contributed ideas to complete the series of activities Say No to Illegal Wildlife Products when applying them in practice in the area.

Accordingly, the chain of activities needs to be implemented smoothly and synchronously, with inter-sectoral coordination, while special attention needs to be paid to communication to raise public awareness to achieve the desired results and goals.

At the program, the Organizing Committee also awarded the 2025 Speaking for the Speechless Contest.
