According to Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, Ngo Cong Thuc, the 2025 Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connection Forum, themed "Linking for Development - An Giang 2025," is a particularly important event that helps promote and introduce An Giang's OCOP products to partners in provinces and cities nationwide. It also aims to promote the image, cultural characteristics, and tourism potential of An Giang province and the entire Mekong Delta region.

The forum also served as a highlight, creating a vibrant atmosphere to welcome the reorganization of provincial-level administrative units, bringing excitement and unity to the people. The event helped strengthen linkages between provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region, between central ministries and agencies and localities nationwide, providing a basis for promoting and developing the potential of OCOP products in the region. “The forum is a regional-scale event organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee. Therefore, the implementation plan must be carried out decisively and synchronously with the efforts of all levels, sectors, and localities,” emphasized Comrade Ngo Cong Thuc.

According to the plan, the forum will take place from September 25th to 28th at Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, Long Xuyen Ward, with 226 booths. The event creates an exciting atmosphere and provides an opportunity for local people to access OCOP products from An Giang and other localities nationwide.

According to Ho Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment: “The Department is coordinating with other departments and agencies to design the overall exhibition space, imagery, and brand identity of the forum, and selecting the implementing unit. At the same time, we are carrying out tasks for the opening and closing ceremonies of the event and contacting Long Xuyen ward regarding site preparation, urban beautification, environmental sanitation, and the design of street lighting systems in the event area…”

According to Mr. Ho Thanh Binh, there are currently 36 participating units in the forum, with booths from localities such as Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Nghe An, and Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, there are 45 booths from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and 30 booths from An Giang. Attendees can visit and shop for OCOP products that reflect the dedication of the producers and showcase the cultural values of each region, promising a unique and enjoyable experience.

Within the framework of the forum, there will be a competition for typical OCOP products from the Mekong Delta; a conference on production linkages and an exhibition space for Vietnamese OCOP products; a workshop on OCOP product development; and a business networking conference for OCOP product owners from participating provinces and cities (B2B format)... All of these open up opportunities for OCOP owners, agencies, units, and localities to connect information and find partners to develop markets.
