Voluntary blood donation is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, demonstrating the beauty of sharing in the lives of each individual, family and the whole society. This is also an annual program maintained and promoted by the Youth Union of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company for many years.
On September 14, the program recorded 105 units of blood registered for donation from BSR employees in many different departments and units, showing the sense of responsibility and noble gesture for the community. With responsibility and love, on September 15 and 16, many units of blood will be donated at the Hematology Department - Quang Ngai General Hospital.
Speaking at the program, comrade Nguyen Le Long - Deputy Secretary of BSR Youth Union said: " The Voluntary Blood Donation Festival is a practical activity, demonstrating the spirit of volunteering for the community of BSR youth. Each drop of blood donated not only brings life to patients but also spreads humanistic values and unites the community. We hope that this activity will continue to receive positive responses, so that together we can contribute to bringing faith and hope to patients in need of blood transfusions."
The program has called for strong participation from employees, Youth Union members of the Company and units of the Central Oil and Gas Cluster, joining hands to supplement precious blood sources for the blood bank of Quang Ngai province, contributing to timely treatment for patients in need of support.
