More than 16,000 soldiers practice marching in the rain
Preparing for the 80th National Day celebration, more than 16,000 officers and soldiers of the Army and Police forces, along with a large array of equipment, practiced for a parade despite heavy rain.

This morning, at the National Military Training Center 4, General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense, along with leaders of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and a number of ministries and branches, visited, encouraged and inspected the forces participating in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.
It rained continuously from early morning in the suburbs of Hanoi , but that did not affect the inspection. The atmosphere at the training ground was still very heroic with the steady, majestic, and proud steps of the officers and soldiers.
Today is also the first time the sea parade formation in Cam Ranh has trained with the armed forces at the Hanoi bridge point.
More than 16,000 officers and soldiers of the forces through the training and practice stages, despite the harsh weather conditions of erratic rain and sunshine, always promoted a good sense of responsibility and constantly strived to complete the assigned tasks well.
Leading the parade formation are the Party flags and the national flags. Command vehicles and flag carriers of the entire army. The army participated in 27 marching units and 11 standing units. In addition to the military branches parading on the ground, the army also had tanks, submarines, and naval surface ships parading.
Previously, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army presided over a comprehensive training inspection three times. Based on daily and weekly training experiences, the units need to continue to improve individual movement skills, improve the quality of coordination and cooperation in each row, each unit and the entire parade formation.
Heavy rain like today also contributes to physical training and health, careful preparation in all aspects, maintaining a vibrant competitive spirit, enhancing the sense of responsibility, pride and honor of soldiers.

The army has 7 women's groups including Military Band, Peacekeeping , Information Officer, Medical Officer, Special Forces, Militia of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups and Southern Guerrillas. The formation is equipped with guns in a hanging position, the footwork and salute movements are maintained stably throughout the parade. Vietnam Peacekeeping Female Soldiers. The soldiers have ideal height, especially the flag team and the unit leader need to have a fresh appearance, good demeanor and leadership. Chemical Defense Soldiers Special Forces - a force specializing in "special work", infiltrating deep into enemy territory Female Special Forces - representing a secret force built and developed right in the heart of the enemy Army Officer Block. Blocks have 10 horizontal rows, 16 vertical rows, block leader and flag team.
