Chinese military delegation arrives in Vietnam to attend parade at the end of August

At the press conference on the Exhibition of the country's achievements in the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness and the press conference to promote the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Major General Tong Van Thanh said that as of August 22, in terms of force organization, there were 6 forces participating in the parade and march. Specifically, including: Traditional torch bearer force and fire guard; Artillery force; Air force flying salute; Parade and marching force; Background force; Formation and letter formation force.

The parade force includes 4 honorary blocks; 43 blocks representing the people's armed forces (26 Army blocks, 17 Police blocks); foreign military blocks (expected 4 blocks) including: Russia, China, Laos, Cambodia (the Cambodian delegation arrived in Vietnam on August 15, the Lao delegation on August 16, the Russian delegation on August 20, the Chinese delegation is expected to arrive in Vietnam at the end of August); military vehicles, artillery , special police vehicles; sea parade force; 12 mass parade blocks; 1 Culture and Sports block.

The standing force as the background includes the Honor Guard and 29 standing blocks (18 armed force blocks standing opposite stand A; 11 mass blocks standing on both sides.

Major General Tong Van Thanh said that the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security have directed the organization of training for forces participating in the parade practice since the beginning of May 2025. Up to now, all blocks and forces have successfully completed the training program, 100% of officers and soldiers have good awareness, high determination, and are excited to carry out their tasks.

According to Major General Tong Van Thanh, the second general training of the armed forces will take place from 8:00 p.m. on August 24; the preliminary review at the State level from 8:00 p.m. on August 27; the general review at the State level from 6:30 a.m. on August 30; and the official ceremony from 6:30 a.m. on September 2.
