On the afternoon of October 2, gasoline prices increased slightly.

(GLO)- On the afternoon of October 2, gasoline prices were adjusted up by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, but the increase was not significant.

Specifically, RON 95-III gasoline increased by only VND40/liter, currently trading at VND20,200/liter; E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by only VND10/liter, currently being sold at VND19,620/liter.

Oil products recorded a stronger increase. Diesel oil is priced at VND19,030 and kerosene is priced at VND19,000 after both increasing by VND380 per liter. Fuel oil also increased by VND170, selling at VND15,370 per kg.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the world oil market in the past 7 days has been affected by many factors such as OPEC+ increasing oil production in October and expected to continue to increase in November, US crude oil inventories increasing and Ukraine continuing to attack Russian energy facilities...

These factors have caused world oil prices to increase in recent days compared to the previous period. Each barrel of RON 95 gasoline increased by 0.3% to 80.7 USD on average; diesel by 2.4%, and fuel oil by 1.75%.
