Attending the program were Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; representatives from the Vietnam Bar Association , the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor, and several departments and agencies...

At the event, workers received advice on topics related to Labor Law, Social Insurance Law, unemployment insurance, occupational safety and health, work accidents, occupational diseases, and the legal rights and benefits of workers.

In addition, workers are also provided with knowledge about preventing and combating cybercrime, illegal lending, and various forms of fraud and property theft.
As part of the program, workers receive free general health check-ups, necessary tests and diagnostic imaging; they also receive advice on nutrition, mental health, reproductive health, and occupational disease prevention.

Ms. Tran Thi Yen, a worker at My Phuoc 2 Industrial Park, said that due to frequent overtime, she rarely has the opportunity to have regular health check-ups.
“Getting free check-ups and screenings right at the event made me feel more at ease about my health. The legal advice was also very practical, helping workers better understand their rights so they can protect themselves when necessary,” Ms. Yen shared.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu stated that this is a practical activity aimed at concretizing the Resolution of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, contributing to comprehensive care for union members and workers.
According to Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, the health of workers is the foundation for the development of businesses and the economy . Therefore, in recent times, the Trade Union has implemented many programs to provide free medical examinations, distribute free medicine, and support union members suffering from serious illnesses, occupational diseases, or work-related accidents.
In particular, on the eve of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor decided to allocate 100 billion VND to support more than 29,000 union members and workers suffering from serious illnesses and occupational diseases.

"We continue to promote healthcare activities and raise awareness about health protection in the workplace and daily life. The working environment must ensure occupational safety and hygiene because health is the most valuable asset of both workers and businesses," Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized.
Besides healthcare, providing legal knowledge to workers is of particular importance. Through the support of lawyers, workers will better understand their rights and obligations, thereby proactively protecting their legitimate interests and contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations within the enterprise.
