Over 6,500 Hyundai vehicles were sold in September 2024.

With over 6,500 vehicles sold in September 2024, Hyundai achieved a growth rate of 39.3% compared to the previous month.
TC Group, the distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Vietnam, has just announced the September 2024 sales results for the Hyundai brand in Vietnam. Total sales reached 6,518 vehicles, a 39.3% increase compared to August 2024. This is a strong increase for the South Korean automaker, helping Hyundai maintain its second position among automotive brands in Vietnam. The Accent continued to be the best-selling model with 1,290 units sold, a 37.7% increase. In second place was the Hyundai Creta with 1,068 units sold, a 74.2% increase. Having just launched its completely new generation on September 18th, the Hyundai Santa Fe recorded sales of 758 units, a 48.3% increase compared to August.

Accent continued to be the best-selling model with 1,290 units sold, representing a 37.7% increase.

While the small car segment continues to lose appeal, the Hyundai Grand i10 recorded 561 units sold in September 2024, ranking 4th within TC Group and achieving the highest growth rate in Hyundai's lineup in Vietnam, reaching 81% compared to August 2024.

Meanwhile, the Tucson ranked 5th with 495 units sold, a 16.5% increase, and the Venue recorded 482 units, ranking 6th, a 62.3% increase. The Hyundai Stargazer came in 7th with 433 units sold, a 14.9% increase. The mid-size MPV, the Custine, recorded sales of 302 units, ranking 8th, a 39.2% increase. The Elantra recorded sales of 179 units, ranking 9th, a 35.6% increase, and the Palisade rounded out the rankings with 163 units sold, a 59.8% increase. In total, from the beginning of the year to date, Hyundai has sold 40,907 vehicles, including both passenger and commercial vehicles. Of these, the Accent remained the best-selling model with 8,200 units, followed by the Creta with 5,181 units. The final months of the year are expected to boost Hyundai's growth, as its vehicle portfolio in Vietnam mainly consists of domestically assembled cars, directly benefiting from the government's 50% reduction in registration fees.
