This company was leased the above land by Ca Mau province to implement the investment project to build a waste and renewable energy power plant in 2017.
From 2017 until now, Quang Ben Company has not put land into use to implement investment projects, violating land laws.

Previously, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ca Mau province inspected the management and use of land to implement the waste and renewable energy power plant project for Quang Ben Company.
According to the inspection agency, the company was decided to lease the land by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province in June 6.
During the process of completing the procedures, Quang Ben Company repeatedly asked to adjust the project investment policy. In the last month of June 6, the unit expected the construction investment progress, putting into operation and operating the project in the second quarter of 2020.
As of July 7, the investment registration certificate has expired but the company has not been renewed by the competent authority. The company has not invested in leveling the land and has not built any construction items on the land.
Currently, the location of the land is no longer suitable for the intended use of this project.
Ca Mau Department of Natural Resources and Environment proposed that the Provincial People's Committee not approve the land use extension and recover the above land from Quang Ben Company. This unit also proposed to consider adjusting the project implementation location to a suitable location.
