Cooperation in many areas
In the construction industry, a digital twin is a virtual model representing a real-world structure, including buildings, bridges, infrastructure, etc. This model is not just a static replica but is updated in real time thanks to IoT sensors, BIM (building information modeling) data, and AI analysis. In construction, digital twins optimize design, manage maintenance efficiently, reduce costs and time, and improve safety.
The advantages of this application were clearly highlighted by Hai Hoa High-Tech Co., Ltd. during a meeting with city leaders. In particular, this represents a nationwide digital transformation trend aimed at reducing costs and increasing efficiency in the design, construction, and management of projects. Specifically, the digital twin optimizes construction monitoring, updates real-time data, detects errors promptly, tracks performance, predicts failures, optimizes operations in real time, and helps analyze scenarios and forecast urban development in real time.
This application was highly appreciated by city leaders, and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh requested the construction sector to research and implement it in practice, especially in the management of transportation projects.

According to Vingroup's Vice President, Le Thi Thu Thuy, the signing of the cooperation agreement with Hue is the first step towards the goal of green transformation, digital transformation, and sustainable development. "Vingroup is very pleased to have the opportunity to cooperate with Hue city. This initial cooperation will serve as a foundation for further collaborations in many different fields," Ms. Thuy said.
For Grab, the cooperation agreement with Hue not only marks a significant step in its digital transformation journey but also opens up opportunities for close collaboration between local authorities and technology companies to promote sustainable development and urban modernization.
Creating new advantages
Despite its great potential, the digital transformation process in Hue still faces several challenges, such as limited technological human resources, the need to upgrade digital infrastructure, and difficulties in integrating technological systems.
To promote effective cooperation, experts suggest that the city needs preferential policies to attract technology companies to participate in digital transformation projects; develop a workforce with expertise in information technology and data management; and invest in open data platforms and intelligent connectivity systems to ensure effective technology deployment.
With collaborations on digital transformation and green transformation being actively implemented by large corporations and businesses, there is an opportunity to create many solutions to promote green transformation, digital transformation, and sustainable development, contributing to improving the quality of life for people and boosting the local economy.
During a meeting with city leaders, FPT Group Chairman Truong Gia Binh affirmed: "Digital transformation will be the key to helping Hue boost growth, aiming for double-digit growth."
According to the Standing Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, the city has actively promoted cooperation with major technology corporations in recent times. These collaborations aim for sustainable development in many areas. “For example, to promote green transportation, Hue has collaborated with Grab to create specific products for implementation within the city. The direction is clearly defined and aligns with the city's policies, aiming to ensure that Hue's social management, traffic management, and urban management are truly advanced,” Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh stated.
Currently, digital transformation is evident in the leadership, management, and administration of the city. The cooperation of corporations and businesses in the city is gradually implementing a digital transformation roadmap to optimize operations, improve production and business efficiency, enhance competitiveness, and contribute to socio-economic development and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
"Promoting and integrating technology into various sectors plays a crucial role, and collaboration with technology corporations and businesses will help Hue move towards sustainable development," Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh shared.
