According to THX news agency, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea said the group conducted a coordinated military operation using a hypersonic ballistic missile and four drones to attack strategic targets in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.
Mr. Sarea also warned that attacks against Israel would continue until the conflict in the Gaza Strip ends.
The Times of Israel reported that the Israeli military confirmed its air defense system successfully intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, and the attack disrupted air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv for the day.
Air raid sirens sounded in many communities in the West Bank, the Jordan Valley, the Afula region, and near Beit Shean due to concerns about falling shrapnel. No sirens sounded in Tel Aviv.
There were no reports of injuries or damage.
