These days, Pham Quynh Nhi, a student in class 12A6 at Tan Yen No. 1 High School, is diligently preparing for her exams. Her aspiration is to study at the Banking Academy.
She stated that she had thoroughly researched job trends through career counseling channels on TikTok and Google, and also consulted with senior colleagues: "The finance and banking sector is one of the industries predicted to experience a significant decline in the number of workers due to the rapid development of AI."
However, I remain confident in this choice because my goal is to work in the business sector. Bac Ninh province is experiencing strong industrial development, so job opportunities will be good. With my existing English skills, I will learn another foreign language to gain a competitive advantage in future jobs.”

Whenever asked about career guidance by younger students, Nguyen Ngoc Chau, born in 1997 in Duong Huc village, Dai Dong commune, always advises that from the moment they enter 10th grade, students should clearly identify their abilities and preferred professions. This is not only to make the right choice, but also to choose early, thereby having a specific direction for their studies and achieving high results.
Having been a student at a high-quality school in the former Tien Du district, and having participated in and won numerous awards in the Physics subject for gifted students, Ngoc Chau was admitted to the specialized Physics class at Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, studying under the A00 subject group.
However, I only enjoyed work related to media. By the middle of my 11th grade year, realizing my weakness, I focused on learning more foreign languages to apply to a suitable field of study. After carefully researching information from various schools and seeking advice from teachers, relatives, and friends, I applied to the Banking Academy under the A01 subject combination.
After graduating, Ngoc Chau worked for a media company and then pursued a master's degree in the UK. Currently, she works for a company specializing in agricultural product import and export. With her excellent English skills, she is assigned to be the MC for the company's diplomatic events.
Ngoc Chau said: "Studying in the wrong subject area took up a lot of my time. I should have focused on doing well in math, literature, and foreign languages from the beginning of 10th grade; it would have been easier and I would have achieved better results."
