Mobilize people to care for people

- In recent years, the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations have carried out many forms of activities to mobilize all resources in society and strengthen the great national unity bloc. Many patriotic emulation movements and campaigns in all areas of life have received the participation of the people.

In particular, the focus is on improving the quality of campaigns and movements, such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", "Exemplary veterans", "Farmers compete in good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably", "Building a family of 5 no 3 clean", "Good workers - Creative workers", "Pioneering in socio -economic development and protecting the Fatherland", "Accompanying young people to establish themselves and start a career"...

In addition, strengthening coordination between the government, departments and branches to mobilize people to actively participate and respond to the movement of building new rural areas, sustainable poverty reduction, ensuring national defense and security, etc. The emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle has been deployed, mobilizing people to participate. Many models and typical examples of "Skilled mass mobilization" have brought about practical results, contributing to promoting socio-economic development and sustainable poverty reduction.

Provincial leaders give gifts to the poor

Last year, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province effectively implemented the coordination program with departments, branches and organizations. The work of grasping the situation among the people, as well as gathering and reflecting the people's opinions to the Party committees and authorities was well promoted by the Fatherland Front system at all levels in the province. Thereby, it recommended that the functional branches pay attention, research and have solutions to overcome, in order to create trust and satisfaction of the people related to the construction of traffic infrastructure, solving pressing problems among the people.

Responding to the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province actively mobilized the Fund for the Poor and the Social Security Fund, with the motto "Publicity, transparency, timeliness, and right target". In 2024, the Fund for the Poor at all levels received over 274 billion VND in cash and in kind (the initial amount transferred over 35 billion VND, bringing the total value to over 309 billion VND). From this source, over 277 billion VND was spent to build 2,100 new Great Unity houses; repair 204 houses; visit and give gifts to over 353,000 poor households; provide emergency assistance to over 64,000 cases and implement many other social security programs.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Fund Mobilization Committee for the Poor at all levels mobilized and received 134,334 gifts, with a total value of over 52.6 billion VND. All were given to policy families, poor households, near-poor households, and families in especially difficult circumstances, each gift worth from 300,000 VND to 1.3 million VND. Districts, towns, and cities mobilized resources to their localities to care for and support 100% of policy families, poor households, and near-poor households with at least 1 gift to celebrate Spring and Tet. Notably, some places had poor and near-poor households receiving more than 2 gifts.

In addition to activities to care for the poor in preparation for Tet, the Provincial Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the district level to present 95 Great Solidarity houses to poor households, worth over 4.7 billion VND, from funding sources of An Giang Lottery Company Limited and units and benefactors in the province.
