Ninh Cuong town has rich and diversified agricultural products and has a favorable geographical position in commodity trade. The town's authorities and associations have actively communicated and propagated the benefits and meanings of the OCOP Program to production and business establishments in the area. Assign staff to guide and assist establishments in completing documents and procedures to ensure the requirements of production conditions and according to the provisions of the OCOP set of criteria for evaluating and classifying products. Up to now, Ninh Cuong is one of the units with the most OCOP products in Truc Ninh district with 4 products: Ninh Cuong fish sauce, Ninh Cuong fish sauce, Huong Tam rustic rice and Vu Thinh peanut candy. These products fully meet the criteria and regulations on product quality and are highly appreciated by the market and consumers inside and outside the province. Some products have been present in the system of clean food stores, participating in many trade promotion fairs. Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of Ninh Cuong Town People's Committee said: "According to regulations, OCOP product certifications are only valid for 36 months from the date of issuance by the competent authority. Therefore, in the coming time, in addition to directing and guiding production facilities to develop new OCOP products, the town's People's Committee will continue to propagate for establishments to strengthen the assurance of quality regulations. for rated products; at the same time creating favorable conditions for promotion and expansion of consumption markets for OCOP products”.

The company's products after meeting OCOP standards have been distributed throughout the province and provinces and cities such as: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam... The company is continuing develop the consumption market in the inner provinces, and at the same time promote sales and product promotion at trade centers, supermarkets, through the Company's sales website, booths on e-commerce sites. and social networks. In 2022, the Company registered 2 products to participate in the OCOP Program, in which the clean rice product Quynh Thanh ST25 was upgraded from 3 stars to 4 stars and the new sticky rice product Bac Quynh Thanh was recognized as meeting OCOP standards. 3 stars".
Implementing the OCOP Program, Truc Ninh district has developed a specific plan, thoroughly grasped the province's guiding viewpoints and local realities, and clearly defined key contents, tasks and solutions. The district also focuses on renovating the form of production organization in a modern direction to improve the productivity of crops and livestock. To encourage and create conditions for cooperatives, enterprises and individuals to accumulate land and develop large-scale commodity agricultural production. Maintain, promote efficiency and expand production models according to the linkage chain to improve the quality and value of products, especially the typical products of each locality. In addition, the district directs specialized agencies to coordinate with the Provincial Rural Rural Coordination Office and the province's OCOP program consulting unit to conduct surveys, guide and assist in perfecting products according to direct OCOP criteria. at enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities whose products have registered to participate in the OCOP program. Thanks to the synchronous implementation of solutions, up to now, the whole district has 18/21 communes and towns with products participating in the OCOP program with 36 products of 24 organizations and individuals recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as OCOP-class products. 3 stars or more, of which 6 products are rated 4 stars. In particular, cooperatives are making their mark in the development of OCOP products in the area. Typical are OCOP products: Linh Chi mushroom of Nhat Bang mushroom cooperative (Truc Thai commune); Truc Thanh specialty sticky rice of Truc Thanh agricultural production, business and service cooperative (Truc Thanh commune); ST25 Dang Dung rice of Truc Liem agricultural production, business and service cooperative (Liem Hai commune); Hung Cuong frozen squid of Hung Cuong Agricultural, Environmental and Fishery Service Cooperative (Truc Cuong Commune)… The construction of OCOP products contributes to promoting development and raising people's incomes, is one of the "leverage" helps Truc Ninh district to accelerate the process of building advanced and model new rural areas. Currently, all 21 communes and towns of Truc Ninh have been recognized as meeting advanced rural development standards according to the set of criteria for the period 2018-2020. The district is instructing Truc Noi and Truc Tuan communes to complete the documentation of evidence bases and fieldwork to be appraised and recognized as model rural communes in 2022; at the same time, continue to urge communes and towns to review and complete the criteria for advanced rural areas according to the set of criteria for the period 2021-2025.
