Ia Priority fee for developing high-tech agriculture

(GLO)- On August 15, the Ia Phi Commune Party Committee (Gia Lai Province) held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Duong Mah Tiep - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and directed the Congress. Also attending the Congress were representatives of provincial departments and branches and 117 delegates representing 639 party members of 46 grassroots party organizations under the commune Party Committee.

Ia Phi Commune was established on the basis of administrative unit arrangement from 3 communes: Ia Phi (old), Ia Ka and Ia Nhin. During the past term, the Party Committee of the 3 communes achieved many important results in various fields.

The work of building the Party and the political system has seen many changes; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members have been enhanced. The economy continues to develop, the economic structure has shifted in the right direction, and the mobilization of resources for investment and development has been quite good. The value of agricultural production has increased steadily over the years.

Along with that, traditional cultural values are preserved and promoted. Education , health, culture, and social security have many positive changes. The poverty rate has decreased sharply to 4.39%. National defense and security are maintained.

During the 2025-2030 term, the commune strives for an average annual growth rate of total product value of 9.2% or more; strives for the rate of population participating in health insurance to reach 98%; reduces the rate of multidimensional poverty to below 0.96% by 2030; the rate of schools meeting national standards to reach 80%; the forest coverage rate to be 24.47%; the rate of rural population using clean water to reach 100%...

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep suggested that Ia Phi commune should proactively coordinate with provincial departments and branches to develop a master plan for socio-economic development of the commune; focus on shifting the economic structure towards developing high-tech agriculture, associated with strong crops such as coffee, pepper, passion fruit, etc.

At the same time, promote production and consumption linkages; develop collective economic models and exploit the potential of eco-cultural tourism, and build brands for local agricultural products.

Effectively implement national target programs; focus on comprehensive development in cultural and social fields, improve people's spiritual life. Strengthen leadership of local defense and military tasks; maintain political security stability and control social order and safety in the area.

In addition, continue to review and complete the arrangement and stabilization of the political system's organizational structure. Focus resources on building Ia Phi commune to become increasingly rich, civilized, and sustainably developed.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Ia Phi Commune Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 25 comrades; the Commune Party Standing Committee, consisting of 9 comrades; the Commune Party Inspection Committee, consisting of 5 comrades. Comrade Pham Minh Phung was appointed to hold the position of Commune Party Secretary.
