The missile unveiling ceremony was attended by President Ebrahim Raisi and senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Iranian media said the Fattah hypersonic ballistic missile has a range of 1,400km and a maximum speed of up to 15,000km/h, while affirming that the missile is capable of targeting advanced missile defense systems of opponents and is a breakthrough in the missile field.
Iranian state television even claimed that the Fattah missile could overcome advanced US missile defense systems and even Israel's Iron Dome system.
