Kate Winslet has no qualms about discussing the iconic scene in the blockbuster Titanic when her character locks lips with Leonardo DiCaprio's Jack.
Iconic scene from the movie Titanic
The pair stood in front of the famous ship for the heart-warming scene. Kate told Vanity Fair in an interview published this week that the kiss was "absolutely a nightmare".
"God, Leonardo is such a romantic. No wonder every young girl in the world wants to kiss Leonardo DiCaprio," Kate Winslet affirmed.
The British actress (48 years old) said that there were a number of factors that made the scene complicated to film, mainly that she was given the responsibility of fixing both herself and DiCaprio's makeup during the scenes because the crew could not easily do it.

The kiss then created a "mess" as the two had two different makeup tones.
"So we kept kissing… and I ended up looking like I was sucking on a caramel bar after every kiss because his makeup was coming off," she recalled.
In fact, Kate Winslet described the scene as a "nightmare" because DiCaprio "couldn't stop laughing" and she "couldn't breathe in the tight corset".
The scene of the Titanic sinking made a strong impression on the audience.
The 1997 classic directed by James Cameron has become one of the most beloved and successful works of all time, with a global revenue of $2.26 billion on a production budget of only $200 million. Kate Winslet plays Rose DeWitt Bukater, Leonardo DiCaprio plays Jack Dawson, who was on the fateful Titanic. Titanic won 11 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director.
