A highlight of this year's series of activities is the programs organized to expand community cultural experiences, connecting historical heritage with contemporary life, thereby highlighting the ideological and humanistic values left behind by President Ho Chi Minh .

At the Ton Duc Thang Museum, the thematic exhibition "Uncle Ho - Uncle Ton with the Workers" officially opened on May 15th and will run until June 12th, 2026. The program is organized by the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch in collaboration with the Ton Duc Thang Museum.
With over 160 representative images, documents, and artifacts, the exhibition recreates the revolutionary journey of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang, two great leaders from the working class who always paid special attention to the workers' movement and the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
The exhibition space not only affirms the role of President Ho Chi Minh in educating and nurturing the Vietnamese working class but also emphasizes the contributions of President Ton Duc Thang to the national workers' movement. Through this, the program contributes to educating about revolutionary traditions, inspiring creative labor, a sense of responsibility, and national pride among today's workers.

The Organizing Committee stated that the thematic event was created with the desire to bring historical stories closer to the public, especially young workers, particularly in the context of the country entering a new stage of development. The spirit of "innovation and creativity, increasing labor productivity" is a practical way to continue the aspirations of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang regarding the building of a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
At the same time, Thu Duc Book Street also organized a series of themed activities with many contents focused on President Ho Chi Minh.

A highlight is the book exhibition themed "Uncle Ho - A Boundless Love," taking place from May 8th to June 2nd, 2026, at the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space. Eight themed bookshelves showcase many valuable works such as "Ho Chi Minh - The Formation of a Great Personality," "The Distinctive Features of Ho Chi Minh Culture," "Ho Chi Minh: Portrait and Legacy," "Following in Uncle Ho's Footsteps," "A Journey of a Thousand Miles," etc., recreating the journey of seeking a path to national salvation, the thoughts, ethics, and boundless love of the President for the Vietnamese people.

According to a representative of Ho Chi Minh City Book Street Company Limited, this year's activities are designed to both create a cultural reading space and enhance interactive experiences for residents, students, and tourists. Through these activities, books, documents, and interactive programs, as well as images of President Ho Chi Minh, will be more accessible and engaging for young people.
In addition to the exhibition, the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at Thu Duc Book Street continues to add many new books about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, serving people who come to visit and learn throughout the holiday.

One of the activities that attracted the students' attention was the thematic program "From Lang Sen Village to the Heart of the Nation" organized by Hiep Phu Secondary School, which included musical performances, storytelling about President Ho Chi Minh, screening of documentary films, and book introductions, helping students to better understand the life, character, and love of President Ho Chi Minh for children.
Representatives from Hiep Phu Secondary School shared that instead of simply conveying historical knowledge in the traditional way, the program is structured using storytelling, dramatization, and interaction to make it more accessible to students. Through simple stories about President Ho Chi Minh, students are educated about the spirit of frugality, patriotism, and the importance of studying and self-improvement.

Also at Thu Duc Book Street, on the evening of May 19th, a cultural program will be held to celebrate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, combined with a fundraising campaign for the "For the Poor" program in 2026, organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tang Nhon Phu Ward. The program not only creates a community space but also spreads the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and social responsibility.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City Book Street is also organizing many large-scale reading culture activities from May 15 to 21, 2026.

The street space is dedicated to displaying thematic books about President Ho Chi Minh, featuring many valuable publications about his life, revolutionary career, and ideology. Simultaneously, publishing and distribution units at the Book Street have set up themed exhibition booths about Uncle Ho, contributing to a vibrant reading culture in the heart of the city.
In particular, on May 16th and 17th, the Creative Reading and Storytelling Area will organize reading and storytelling activities about President Ho Chi Minh for children and families. This is a way to nurture a love of books, educate children about patriotic traditions, and instill respect and love for President Ho Chi Minh through relatable and accessible stories.

Combining reading activities, cultural exhibitions, creative experiences, and community events aims to broaden reach and make cultural spaces regular meeting points for city residents. Through this, the historical values, traditions, and ideology of Ho Chi Minh continue to be disseminated in new forms, more relevant to modern life.
