The event will be open from 1:30 PM on December 21st until the end of December 22nd. Admission is free and there are no age restrictions.

In 2022, Vietnam hosted its first international defense exhibition, so the scale was limited and there wasn't much experience. " We were learning as we went," Major General Le Ngoc Than shared.

Under the direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence, the second edition of the exhibition will be much larger in scale, with more activities and a greater number of international delegations. In particular, the number of weapons and equipment from participating countries and Vietnam on display will be greater, with many new products manufactured from 2022 to the present also being showcased.

Major General Le Ngoc Than emphasized the goal of the exhibition to seek cooperation opportunities between partners; while Vietnam has a self-reliant, independent, and strong defense industry, it still needs to cooperate with countries that have defense industries to learn from them.

The Vietnam International Defence Exhibition 2024 is scheduled to take place from December 19th to 22nd at Gia Lam Airport ( Hanoi ). This is one of the activities in a series of events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

According to the organizers, this year's exhibition has a total display area of over 100,000 m², comprising 18 zones.

The exhibition area covers nearly 35,000 m² (including indoor and outdoor spaces).
