Each year, Warehouse 182 receives, manages, and distributes tens of thousands of cubic meters of fuel and hundreds of tons of oil and grease. At times, receiving and distributing operations take place continuously day and night. In this demanding work environment, Major Vu Duy Hieu, a fuel and oil statistics officer (Planning Staff Department), always maintains a precise, meticulous, and responsible work ethic. Besides updating complete data on incoming, outgoing, and inventory goods, he regularly checks and reviews the quantity and types of fuel and oil, ensuring tight management and preventing losses. Having been awarded the titles of "Outstanding Soldier" and "Advanced Soldier" for many consecutive years, Major Hieu considers this a motivation to continue his dedication to his work.

He has many initiatives and technical improvements to enhance the efficiency of managing and operating the unit's storage tanks, pipelines, pumping stations, and technical equipment. From practical experience, he has repeatedly identified and proposed timely solutions to malfunctions, contributing to ensuring safety in receiving and distributing gasoline and oil, and in fire prevention and control. When assigned to concurrently lead the 2nd Guard-Firefighting Platoon, he still successfully completed his duties. Outside of work hours, he actively participates in improving the unit's landscape. For six consecutive years, he has been awarded the title of "Outstanding Soldier at the grassroots level" along with numerous commendations from the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Logistics and Technology, a recognition of his efforts.

Major Le Thi Kieu Van, a military personnel officer (Planning Staff Department) and President of the Women's Association of Warehouse 182, is also a dynamic and responsible officer. In a unit with dispersed missions and constantly fluctuating personnel, she proactively studies regulations and advises on the effective implementation of military personnel management. From 2020 to the present, she has gradually digitized records and data, facilitating the management, inspection, and utilization of personnel. As President of the Women's Association, she and the Executive Committee organize many practical activities suitable to the unit's mission. She consistently pays attention to and understands the thoughts and circumstances of members, providing timely support to those in need, contributing to building a united and cohesive environment within the unit.

Colonel Vu Hong Long, Political Commissar of Warehouse 182, said: “The unit always pays attention to identifying, nurturing, and replicating advanced models. Regardless of their position, officers, staff, and soldiers of Warehouse 182 all uphold a high sense of responsibility and dedication to their work.
