Thuan Hoa Ward announces the launch of an application for managing operations and smart urban services.

Previously, whenever he received complaints from residents about encroachment on sidewalks and roads, environmental sanitation, or public order and security, Mr. Ngo Thanh Minh, Head of Residential Group 5 in Truong An, often had to wait for meetings or meet directly with specialized officials to relay the information. Many incidents occurred at night or on holidays, so the handling was slow, and residents had to wait quite a long time to receive a response.

Since the "Thuan Hoa" application was launched on the Hue-S platform, all feedback can be updated directly through the system. Information is quickly transmitted to leaders and specialized departments for timely processing. According to Mr. Minh, this is a very convenient tool for grassroots officials.

"With over 360 households, including people of various religions and professions, the group regularly receives feedback and suggestions. Now, simply submitting feedback through the application allows all information to be updated and responded to quickly, making it very convenient," Mr. Minh shared.

In the context of rapid digital transformation, innovation in management and administration methods at the grassroots level is considered essential. Especially with the implementation of a two-tiered local government model, the need for connectivity and information exchange between wards and residential areas is increasing. Therefore, the application of digital technologies in administration is expected to contribute to improving the efficiency of the entire grassroots political system.

According to the leaders of Thuan Hoa ward, the "Thuan Hoa" application, launched on May 18th, is designed with five main functional groups: Unit information; operational management; feedback and suggestions; party member management, electronic party member handbook; and system administration and navigation. Among these, the feedback and suggestions function is considered a highlight, creating a direct connection channel between residents and local Party committees and authorities.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Committee member of the City Party Committee and Secretary of the Thuan Hoa Ward Party Committee, stated that the application is not only a tool to support work but also a breakthrough in innovating the leadership, management, and operational methods of local Party committees and authorities. Digitizing processes helps strengthen connections between the ward and residential areas, ensuring that directives are disseminated quickly, while also ensuring that feedback from the grassroots level is received more accurately and promptly.

To support the synchronized operation process, Viettel Hue Branch donated tablets to 53 residential areas to help grassroots officials access and use applications more easily, gradually forming a digital working environment from the ward to the residential area.

Along with the launch of the application, Thuan Hoa ward is deploying smart urban services through a system of cameras and IOC devices integrated with artificial intelligence (AI), serving traffic monitoring, security and order, disaster prevention and control, and urban management.

Despite being newly implemented, the "Thuan Hoa" application has shown initial effectiveness in improving the quality of administration and services for the people. "To ensure the system's long-term effectiveness, the locality will continue to refine its features, strengthen training in usage skills for grassroots officials, and enhance the level of interaction among citizens on the digital platform," emphasized Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh.

The pioneering development and operation of an operational management application on the Hue-S platform not only demonstrates Thuan Hoa ward's determination to undergo digital transformation, but also opens up a new direction in building digital government at the grassroots level, aiming for a modern, transparent administration that serves the people even better.
