- In recent times, the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion has intensified its trade promotion activities, supporting businesses and production and trading establishments in promoting their products, expanding consumer markets, and boosting trade development.
The Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center was established according to Decision No. 1725, dated December 29, 2023, of the Prime Minister . Immediately after commencing operations, the center has implemented diverse and effective trade promotion activities.
Mr. Tran Anh Thuan, Head of the Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion Department of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, said: To effectively carry out trade promotion work, the department has advised the center to implement many activities to promote and develop the domestic market, boost exports; link trade promotion activities with investment and tourism promotion; support the promotion and brand building of local agricultural products, connect supply and demand, and expand consumption markets... On average, each year, the center establishes 3-5 working groups to attend trade fairs and exhibitions in and outside the country to support businesses in displaying and promoting their products; coordinate the organization of training courses and update knowledge on trade for production and business establishments in the province.

Furthermore, in response to the development of e-commerce, from 2024 to the present, the center has focused on supporting businesses in bringing OCOP products and typical, representative products of the province to domestic and international online shopping channels. In particular, on February 8, 2026, the center collaborated with JIN PRO NETWORK Media and Entertainment Joint Stock Company to conduct a Mega Livestream on Facebook at the first Spring Fair in 2026 (Hanoi) to promote and sell the province's specialty products. The livestream attracted approximately 37 million viewers and resulted in thousands of orders, with estimated revenue of around 250 million VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Nga, Director of Mai Sao Lang Son Cooperative (Nhan Ly commune), said: The cooperative processes and sells many OCOP products and specialty products of the province such as braised pork belly, roast duck, sausages, etc. Recently, the cooperative has received support from the center in promoting its products, most recently participating in the Mega Livestream exhibition at the first Spring Fair in 2026. Thanks to this, the cooperative's products have been introduced to many consumers, with an estimated 500 products sold through the fair.
Not only Mai Sao Lang Son Cooperative, but also OCEANLINE Co., Ltd. (Dong Dang commune) is a typical enterprise that has received support from the center to promote its products and has achieved initial success. Mr. Hoang Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the company, said: In 2024, the company received support from the center to establish and launch its cassia oil product on the Alibaba e-commerce platform; at the same time, the company also proactively sells its products on the Shopee e-commerce platform. As a result, the company's products have become known and sought after by many domestic and international customers. Currently, through various sales channels, the company sells more than 500 products per month.
The trade promotion programs implemented have yielded practical results, becoming a "launching pad" for many of the province's products to reach wider markets. These include products such as powdered black jelly, dried star anise, and star anise essential oil exported to China, India, Dubai, and several European countries; and tea exported to Taiwan and Russia. Notably, e-commerce has also seen strong growth. By the end of 2025, Lang Son province is expected to have nearly 21,000 products listed on e-commerce platforms, ranking second nationwide; and nearly 50,000 successful transactions, ranking fourth nationwide.
Mr. Vu Duc Thien, Deputy Director of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, said: To promote the province's trade development, in the coming time, the Center will continue to strengthen the promotion and support of bringing key products and distinctive products of the province into supermarket systems, retail distribution channels, and e-commerce platforms both domestically and internationally; coordinate the organization of training programs, hire experts to advise on product development, and support businesses and cooperatives in improving product quality and competitiveness in the market...
With its synchronized and effective trade promotion activities, the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center has been affirming its role as an important bridge between businesses and production facilities and the market. This contributes to promoting products, expanding consumer markets, and creating a foundation for the sustainable development of the province's trade sector in the future.
