This contributes to fostering international solidarity, mutual love and support within the community, strengthening faith in the Party and State, and promoting a sense of connection to one's roots in the hearts of every Vietnamese person in Laos.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong dedicated his heart and soul to the Party's reform process, contributing to Vietnam's increasingly strong development and enhanced position on the international stage. These achievements are a source of pride for Vietnamese people abroad, strengthening the faith of those far from home in the Party's leadership and the revolutionary path laid by President Ho Chi Minh and their predecessors. In mourning the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, on behalf of the Vietnamese community in Cambodia, Sim Chy, President of the Khmer-Vietnamese Association in Cambodia, expressed the hope that the Party and State would continue to harness the strength of the entire nation to further develop Vietnam and ensure a more prosperous and happy life for its people. Sim Chy, President of the Khmer-Vietnamese Association in Cambodia, recalls that every time General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong visited Cambodia, he always took the time to visit the Vietnamese community, listening to their thoughts and feelings about their homeland.

The most profound impression of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong that Sim Chy, Chairman of the Khmer-Vietnamese Association in Cambodia, will always remember is his close attention to people. Sim Chy shared that every time they met, the General Secretary would remind the association's members, as well as Vietnamese people in Cambodia, to abide by local laws and respect the customs and traditions of the Khmer people. He also emphasized that the Vietnamese community in Cambodia must unite and support each other in life.

Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese People in Russia, Do Xuan Hoang, shared the widespread grief within the community upon hearing the news of the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Vietnamese people abroad, including in Russia, rejoiced at Vietnam's recent achievements, particularly in economics and diplomacy, which have enhanced the standing of Vietnamese people overseas, creating conditions for them to do business, live, and develop in a stable and long-term manner. As a staff member of Hanoi Pedagogical University currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Beijing (China), Mr. Le Trung Thanh, President of the Vietnamese Student Association in Beijing, expressed his deep sorrow at the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. He stated that the legacy left by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will continue to be an important foundation in the country's development, serving as inspiration and motivation for present and future generations. The Vietnamese Student Association in Beijing will continue to uphold its role in uniting its members and students, following the example of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
