Speak well, do well - people believe, people follow

Keeping in mind Uncle Ho's teaching: "If you are good at mass mobilization, everything will be successful", the grassroots cadres, associations, unions, village elders, and prestigious people in the province have made efforts in recent years to gather forces to participate in patriotic emulation movements, unite the community, preserve cultural identity and promote local development.

During his 32 years of work, Mr. Y Bhiu Mlo (75 years old), village elder, a prestigious person residing in residential group 3, Pong Drang commune, has been trusted by the Party Committee, government and people to take on many positions. Connecting with the villagers, he has tirelessly traveled to remote villages to propagate and mobilize people to change their thinking and ways of doing things, improve their lives and take care of their children's education.

Mr. Y Bhiu Mlo.

When he was working in the education sector, during the day he taught reading and writing, and in the evening he and teachers went to persuade families to send their children to school and not drop out early. During the period 1979 - 1990, when he was Chairman of the People's Committee of Pong Drang commune, Mr. Y Bhiu advocated mobilizing people in villages to separate households, settle down, and then settle down. To set an example, he himself separated households first and then encouraged commune officials to set an example, spreading it to Tong Mai village and other villages in the area.

Mr. Y Bhiu also found a practical solution to the problem of helping people develop their economy . He chose a household in the village to plant coffee trees. When the coffee trees began to yield, he invited people to visit the garden to learn the model. This trader spread the word to households in other villages, gradually forming a large coffee growing area. Thanks to the development of industrial crops, many households in the villages have purchased tractors, cars, and built solid houses.

In particular, during his time as head of the district Fatherland Front, he and his team of front officials and socio -political organizations actively propagated and mobilized people not to believe or listen to bad guys. The message "there is no place like your own village" was spread by him among the ethnic groups in the area. Mr. Y Bhiu also propagated and mobilized people to preserve gongs and jars, participate in gong practice; mobilized resources to help disadvantaged students; united ethnic groups and religions in the area to join hands to build increasingly developed villages.

With the qualities of a soldier of Uncle Ho's army, for many years, Mr. Nguyen Sanh, Head of the Veterans Association of Phu Vang Quarter (Binh Kien Ward) has always been dedicated, exemplary, and excellent in completing assigned tasks. Under his leadership, the association's movement has increasingly flourished, united, and cohesive.

With his prestige and sense of responsibility, Mr. Sanh actively cooperated with the neighborhood organizations to carry out the work of mass mobilization and grassroots mediation, especially in cases related to land disputes. He also encouraged members and residents to plant flowers and trees along the roads, contributing to building a green - clean - beautiful neighborhood.

The leaders of the Binh Kien Ward Veterans Association always acknowledge and encourage Mr. Nguyen Sanh (left cover) in his assigned work.

Sharing about his work, Mr. Sanh said: “On the digital transformation front, I was a pioneer in participating in training courses, then went with the ward's digital technology team to each house, guiding each member to install and use the digital platform. At first, it was difficult because most of the members were old, but thanks to persistent advocacy, many people are now proficient in using it.”

To have a fund to help members, Mr. Sanh and the association's collective mobilized to build a Fund for Comradeship to visit and support when sick, organize thoughtful funerals, and contribute to strengthening the relationship within the association.

Not only being active in mass mobilization work, Mr. Sanh is also the head of the group borrowing capital from the Social Policy Bank. He has guided 56 member households to borrow capital to develop the economy, with a total outstanding debt of more than 2.8 billion VND. Member Tran Van Mao shared: "Thanks to participating in the Veterans' model of good economic performance and being guided by Mr. Nguyen Sanh, I boldly borrowed capital to develop a mushroom growing model, combined with growing apricot and kumquat trees. Each year, my family earns over 300 million VND."

Thanks to these efforts, Mr. Nguyen Sanh and the Phu Vang Ward Veterans Association have been recognized and rewarded for their excellent performance by Party committees, authorities and veteran associations at all levels for many years.

According to the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, the province currently has 1,063 prestigious people who are village elders, village and hamlet chiefs, party cell secretaries, and heads of front work committees. These are reliable "bridges" between the government and the people, bringing the Party's policies and the State's laws to ethnic minority people, contributing to building great national unity.
