After troubleshooting, at 8:56 a.m. on August 12, Unit 1 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant ( Ha Tinh Petroleum Power Company) officially reconnected to the national grid after nearly 2 years of suspension.

In September 2021, Unit 1 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant (Ky Loi Commune, Ky Anh Town) encountered a technical problem and had to temporarily stop operations.

After the problem was fixed, Unit 1 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant reconnected to the national grid.

After many efforts, the technical problem at Unit 1 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant has been successfully resolved.

With the timely and effective direction of Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation, Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company has deployed periodic repair work combined with troubleshooting and repairing Unit 1 to ensure proper technical standards.

After the problem was fixed, Unit 1 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant reconnected to the national grid.

The leaders of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation promptly directed and encouraged the staff and workers of the Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company to successfully reconnect generator unit 1 to the grid.

On August 12, 2023, leaders of Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation and contractor leaders came to direct and encourage officers and workers of Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company and contractors at the important moment - bringing Unit 1 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant back to the grid.

At 8:56 a.m. on August 12, 2023, Unit 1 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant officially reconnected to the national grid.

Mr. Tran Van Tinh - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Petroleum Power Company excitedly said: "After many efforts, at 8:56 a.m. on August 12, 2023, Unit 1 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant was officially connected to the national grid. Putting Unit 1 back into operation is of great significance in ensuring national energy security, serving the development of the country's economy ".
