Following troubleshooting, at 8:56 AM on August 12th, Unit 1 of the Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant ( Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company) officially reconnected to the national power grid after nearly two years of temporary shutdown.
In September 2021, Unit 1 of the Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant (Ky Loi commune, Ky Anh town) experienced a technical malfunction and had to temporarily cease operation.
After numerous efforts, the technical problem at Unit 1 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant has been successfully resolved.
Under the timely and effective guidance of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation, the Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company has implemented scheduled maintenance combined with rectification and repair of Unit 1, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
The leaders of Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation promptly directed and encouraged the staff and workers of Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company to successfully reconnect Unit No. 1 to the grid.
On August 12, 2023, leaders of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation and the contractor's leadership visited and encouraged the staff and workers of Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company and the contractor's units during the crucial moment of bringing Unit 1 of the Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant back into the grid.
At 8:56 AM on August 12, 2023, Unit 1 of the Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant officially reconnected to the national power grid.
