Opening of the Mekong Delta OCOP Forum 2025

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment coordinated with the People's Committee of An Giang province to organize the Opening Ceremony of the Mekong Delta OCOP Forum 2025 with the theme "Linking for Development - An Giang 2025".

Within the framework of the forum, many important activities were organized such as: Conference on connecting trade of OCOP products in the Mekong Delta region; Workshop on developing OCOP products; Livestream online sales programs; Contest on typical OCOP products. Along with that is an exhibition space of 226 booths introducing OCOP products, regional specialties, combining check-in, craft demonstration, promoting regional cuisines across the country.

As the host province of this year’s Forum, An Giang affirmed its pioneering role with 36 booths introducing nearly 600 OCOP products with 3 stars or more; of which, 14 OCOP products were recognized as 5 stars, 1 potential 5-star product and 52 4-star products. Notably, An Giang currently has 324 participating entities, including 76 enterprises, 45 cooperatives, the rest are business households – showing the diversity and richness of the creative and production force.

Taking place from September 25-28, the Mekong Delta OCOP Forum 2025 is not only a trade promotion event, but also an opportunity for localities to demonstrate the spirit of regional cooperation, together developing the rural economy in a sustainable, creative and integrated direction. This is also an opportunity to promote the image, culture, tourism and specialties of An Giang province and the Mekong Delta region, creating an exciting atmosphere to welcome the arrangement of administrative units and the construction of a 2-level local government model nationwide.
