VHO - On October 7, the first Billiards Tournament for Journalists and Businessmen in 2023 officially opened with the participation of nearly 70 players from nearly 60 press agencies, businessmen, and sponsors. The tournament was organized by the Representative Office of Vietnam Family Magazine in Can Tho City to celebrate the 19th anniversary of Vietnamese Businessmen's Day (October 13). After the opening ceremony, the official competition round took place at the MILANO Billiards Club, Xuan Khanh Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City.

According to the Organizing Committee, the quality of competition this year was highly appreciated. Right from the start, the players showed their competitive spirit in every technical action. The concentration and competitive energy were what more than 70 players showed throughout the competition, creating an extremely fierce and attractive competitive atmosphere.
The tournament takes place during the day, in the form of free billiards doubles. Specifically, based on the players registered to compete, the Organizing Committee will divide them into 2 groups: Group A includes players who are journalists - Group B includes players who are businessmen or business representatives and randomly draw pairs. Each pair will have one player from group A and one player from group B.

The Organizing Committee will award first, second, and third prizes along with gold, silver, and bronze medals, flags, trophies, and other secondary prizes, along with many other valuable gifts... In addition to the award ceremony, there will be many other exciting activities within the framework of the tournament, such as art performances, the "Vietnamese Lotus" ao dai collection and the "Colors of Fashion" youth fashion collection ; a charity auction of 500-year-old antiques to raise funds to support the Can Tho City Social Work Center, which cares for children affected by toxic chemicals.
