During the three days of the festival, fishing boats from the province and neighboring localities are elaborately decorated and gather at Long Hai beach in front of Dinh Co. The bows of all boats are turned towards Dinh Co, respectfully praying for favorable weather. The "Nghinh Co" ceremony (the main ceremony) is held from the early morning of February 23rd. According to the festival organizers, to further promote local tourism and culture, this year's festival has included many folk games, such as: artistic kite flying, swimming competitions, fish carrying competitions, and traditional music performances.
