Opening Ceremony of the Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival

NDO - On the evening of April 26th, at the Sam Son City Beach Square in Thanh Hoa province, the Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival 2025, themed "Aspiration to Shine," officially opened, marking the beginning of a vibrant summer tourism season in the coastal city. The event, held just before the April 30th and May 1st holidays, attracted tens of thousands of locals and tourists.

Attending the ceremony were Comrade Le Thanh Long, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Prime Minister; Comrade Do Trong Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Department; Comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; along with leaders of central ministries, departments and agencies, and leaders of Thanh Hoa province.

With the theme of honoring traditional values ​​and inspiring aspirations for progress, the artistic program at the opening ceremony was divided into three chapters: "Brilliant Heritage," "The Quintessence of Vietnam's Land and Sky," and "Aspiration to Shine." The spectacular performance space, combining modern lighting and sound effects, transported the audience through the heroic legacies of Thanh Hoa province, a land of outstanding people and rich history, to the modern and dynamic image of Sam Son today.

Amidst the emotionally rich musical flow, songs like "Homeland of Thanh Hoa, Land of Love and Compassion," "Greetings to the Heroic Ma River," and "Red Blood, Yellow Skin" resonated in fresh and unique arrangements, contributing to an artistic journey that connects tradition and modernity, past and future. The highlight of the evening was a spectacular fireworks display, marking the opening moment of the vibrant 2025 summer tourism season.

The Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival 2025 is not only an important cultural and artistic event, but also an opportunity to introduce to domestic and international tourists the new look and strong transformations of Sam Son coastal city. Through this, it affirms the efforts to build Sam Son into a key national tourism city, an attractive destination of Vietnam on the international tourism map.

Tens of thousands of people gathered to share in the joy at the event.

Along with the opening ceremony, many unique cultural, sports, and tourism activities will also be organized, contributing to promoting the traditional cultural values, distinctive tourism products, and investment potential of the city.
