TPO - While taking photos on a rocky outcrop near Sam Son beach, two female tourists were unexpectedly isolated and trapped by rising tides, unable to reach the shore.

On May 18th, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Thanh Hoa province announced that at approximately 2 PM that day, the Sam Son beach rescue and first aid team, in coordination with other functional forces, promptly rescued two female tourists who were trapped on a rocky outcrop near the sea.

Two female tourists who were stranded were reached by rescue forces and brought ashore.

According to authorities, at that time, Ms. NTT (born in 1994) and Ms. TTH (born in 1984, both residing in Hac Thanh ward) were visiting Sam Son beach. The two female tourists then went to the rocky outcrop of Truong Le mountain, behind the Doc Cuoc temple in Sam Son ward, to take photos.

Unaware of the rapidly rising tide, both were isolated by the seawater, unable to move towards shore, and at risk of being swept away by the waves.

Following the report, rescue teams were able to reach the victims' location and assist in bringing them safely ashore.
