These days, Thanh Hoa province is experiencing a severe heatwave with temperatures reaching 38-40 degrees Celsius. Thousands of tourists and locals from all over are flocking to Sam Son beach to cool off by swimming.

Even though it was the beginning of the week, the number of people flocking to the beach increased as the afternoon progressed. They swam in groups along the long stretch of beach.

Amidst the sweltering heat of early summer, many beachgoers still remember to wrap scarves around their faces to protect themselves from the sun .

"Since the children started their summer vacation, the weather has reached its peak of heat, so every afternoon my family takes them to the beach. It's very hot and stuffy at home, so the beach is cooler and the children can play," said Ms. Trang (Hac Thanh ward). In the photo, many elderly people and young children going to the beach are equipped with hats, caps, and scarves to protect themselves from the sun.

Many tourists say that, despite the large crowds, Sam Son beach remains a suitable choice for escaping the heat due to its convenient location and diverse services.

Lifeguards are constantly monitoring and warning tourists not to venture into dangerous areas of water while swimming.

Forecasts indicate that in the coming days, the Northern and North Central regions of Vietnam will continue to experience high temperatures, and the number of visitors to beaches like Sam Son is expected to increase sharply, especially on weekends.
