Free medical examinations and medication provided to 400 residents of Ninh Hai commune.

On May 9th, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society, in collaboration with the Little Hearts Humanitarian Medical Examination Group (Ho Chi Minh City), organized a program to provide free medical examinations, medication, and gifts to 400 disadvantaged people in Ninh Hai commune.

The program organizers gave gifts to people who came for medical check-ups.

During the program, the medical team and volunteers conducted general health checkups for the people, focusing on internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiovascular diseases, etc. In addition, people received advice on proper health care, environmental hygiene to prevent disease, and were given free medicine.

The program also awarded 10 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to underprivileged students in the commune who excelled in their studies; and provided 400 free meals and drinks to residents and students participating in the program. The total value of the humanitarian activities exceeded 250 million VND.

Scholarships are awarded to underprivileged students who excel in their studies.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented a plaque of appreciation to the Little Hearts Humanitarian Medical Examination Group.

The activities contribute to caring for the health of people in difficult circumstances; supporting students to continue their education. At the same time, they promote the role of connecting and mobilizing humanitarian resources of the Provincial Red Cross Society in ensuring social welfare in the locality.
