Medical examination and medication provided to 431 beneficiaries of social policies in Phu Luong ward.

To commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 18, Phu Luong ward, in coordination with the Hanoi City Police Hospital, organized medical examinations and provided medicine to 431 war invalids, relatives of martyrs, and resistance fighters exposed to chemical toxins in the area.

During the health check-up, war invalids, relatives of martyrs, and meritorious individuals received eye examinations, blood pressure and heart rate measurements, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, ear, nose and throat examinations, and dental check-ups from doctors at the City Police Hospital and the ward's health station. In addition, these policy beneficiaries also received advice and guidance on physical exercise methods and nutritional regimens to improve their health, and were provided with free medication.

Medical examinations and medication distribution are meaningful activities aimed at caring for the health of wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and meritorious individuals, expressing gratitude to those who dedicated their youth and sacrificed their lives to win independence and freedom for the country.

Speaking at the health check-up event, Luong Manh Son, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Luong Ward, shared that caring for policy beneficiaries is not only a responsibility but also a matter of affection and morality for the Party Committee, the government, and every citizen. The ward will continue to organize more practical activities to express gratitude to meritorious individuals and policy beneficiary families.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs this year, Phu Luong ward organized many activities to express gratitude and appreciation, such as mobilizing funds for the Gratitude and Appreciation Fund; presenting 3 savings accounts worth 5 million VND each to disadvantaged policy beneficiaries; giving gifts from the Central Government and Hanoi City to 431 policy beneficiaries; and organizing incense offerings at 2 martyrs' cemeteries in the ward...
