Examination and medicine provision for 431 policy beneficiaries in Phu Luong ward

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 18, Phu Luong ward coordinated with Hanoi City Police Hospital to organize medical examinations and provide medicine for 431 wounded soldiers, martyrs' relatives, and resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals in the area.

At the health check-up, wounded soldiers, martyrs’ relatives, and meritorious people were examined by doctors from the City Police Hospital and the Ward Health Station for their eyes, blood pressure, heart rate, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, ear, nose, throat, and maxillofacial examinations, etc. In addition, policy beneficiaries were also consulted and instructed on physical exercise methods and nutrition to improve their health and given free medicine.

Medical examination and medicine provision are meaningful activities to take care of the health of wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and meritorious people, showing gratitude to those who have devoted their youth and shed their blood to gain independence and freedom for the country.

Speaking at the health check-up, Party Secretary and Chairman of Phu Luong Ward People's Council Luong Manh Son shared that taking care of policy beneficiaries is not only a responsibility but also a sentiment and morality towards the Party Committee, the government and each citizen. The ward will continue to organize more practical activities to show gratitude to people with meritorious services and policy families.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day this year, Phu Luong ward organized many activities to show gratitude and repay kindness such as mobilizing to build a Gratitude and Repayment Fund; presenting 3 savings books worth 5 million VND/book to policy beneficiaries in difficult circumstances; presenting gifts from the Central Government and Hanoi city to 431 policy beneficiaries; organizing incense offering at 2 martyrs cemeteries in the ward...
