Expeditiously finalize data for the handover of tasks related to the implementation of national target programs.

(QNO) - This morning, June 19th, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan chaired a meeting with departments and agencies to discuss the progress of implementing national target programs for the period 2021-2025.

According to the report, as of June 18, 2025, the total capital for implementing the three national target programs in the province is nearly 2,900 billion VND, of which the planned capital for 2025 is 1,655 billion VND. Specifically, the sustainable poverty reduction program has a total capital of over 964 billion VND; the socio -economic development program for ethnic minority and mountainous areas has over 1,198 billion VND; and the new rural development program has over 735 billion VND.

Capital allocation has been carried out effectively for the projects already underway. By mid-June 2025, the province had disbursed over 686 billion VND, reaching 24%. Of this, the poverty reduction program disbursed 23%, the ethnic minority and mountainous region program 26%, and the new rural development program 20%.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested that departments, agencies, and localities focus decisively on implementing tasks; specifically reviewing each program from the allocation and disbursement of funds, the list of completed projects, and ongoing projects.

Mr. Tuan suggested that program coordination offices strengthen inspection, supervision, and problem-solving; and guide local units in transitioning program content in the context of implementing the two-tiered local government model.

Prior to the provincial merger (July 1, 2025), the province will finalize the documentation and guide localities in handing over all aspects of this program. Districts will hand over to the new communes, and the province will hand over to the new city. After the merger, the province will continue to advise on the implementation of national target programs and develop implementation plans for the next phase, ensuring continuity and effectiveness.
