Inauguration of 2 Great Solidarity houses given to poor households in Ia Rve commune

The first house was built for the family of Mr. Ho Van Thanh, born in 1960, with an area of about 55m2 , with a total cost of about 100 million VND. Of which, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dak Lak province supported 70 million VND, the remaining amount was mobilized by the family and officers and soldiers of Ia Rve Border Post to support construction materials and labor days.

It is known that Mr. Ho Van Thanh's family is poor, he and his wife do not have stable jobs, are often sick, the family lives in a small, dilapidated house that is unsafe for living. Along with supporting the construction of houses, the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard also sponsors the family's two children in the program "Helping children go to school". Up to now, the family's eldest daughter is preparing to graduate from the University of Economics and Finance in Ho Chi Minh City.

The second house was given to the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Tua, born in 1956, with an area of about 50m2 , with a total cost of 80 million VND. Of which, 50 million VND came from the support of the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, the remaining amount was supported by family and relatives, along with the labor of officers and soldiers of Ia Rve Border Post. Mr. Nguyen Van Tua's family is a poor household, for many years had to live in a dilapidated house, due to difficult circumstances, they did not have the conditions to repair or rebuild.

With the support of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, the families have been able to build new, spacious, and clean houses. They have expressed their gratitude. The families promise to keep their houses clean and try to teach their children to be diligent, study, work, and earn a living to escape poverty.

Colonel Ro Lan Ngan, Deputy Political Commissar of Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard, said: Over the past years, the Provincial Border Guard has advised and coordinated with agencies and units to implement many strategic and long-term effective projects such as: building dams, building roads to disperse people in border areas, especially mobilizing many sources of support to build many houses for people with difficult housing circumstances in border areas. Thereby, supporting and accompanying local authorities in economic development, helping people to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, gradually stabilizing their lives and effectively implementing the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister .
