On May 24th, on the occasion of attending the Buddha's Birthday Celebration, Buddhist calendar 2570 - Gregorian calendar 2026, organized by Phuoc An Pagoda (Hung Phu ward), Mr. Tran Van Chinh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, along with representatives of the City Party Committee's Party Building Departments and leaders of Hung Phu ward, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate and put into use the traffic bridge across Nga Bat canal (in An Hung area, Hung Phu ward) - the "Understanding and Compassion IV" Bridge.
Delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the "Understanding and Loving IV" traffic bridge.
Mr. Tran Van Chinh, Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, along with delegates, visited the "Understanding and Compassion IV" bridge.
The "Understanding and Compassion IV" bridge is 30 meters long, 3.5 meters wide, and has a load capacity of 2.5 tons. It was completed after 40 days of construction. The total construction cost exceeded 500 million VND, contributed by monks, nuns, Buddhists, philanthropists, and people from within and outside the locality.
Leaders of Hung Phu ward presented Certificates of Commendation to collectives that made significant contributions to the bridge construction process.
On this occasion, 3 groups and 6 individuals who made significant contributions to the bridge construction were awarded certificates of commendation by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Phu Ward.
