Inauguration of the 'Youth Tree Planting Project'

TPO - As part of the launching ceremony of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and in response to the 2026 Month of Action for Children, the No. 3 working group of the Central Youth Union inaugurated the "Youth Tree Planting" project in the area of ​​Lac Quoi Secondary School, Ba Chuc commune, An Giang province.

Joining delegation number 3 was Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, and Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union.

At Lac Quoi Secondary School in Ba Chuc commune, the Central Youth Union delegation, along with numerous Youth Union members and young people, planted the first trumpet trees, conveying a message about the responsibility of young people in protecting the environment and building a green, clean, and beautiful school landscape.

The "Youth Tree Planting" project not only contributes to providing shade and enhancing the landscape of Lac Quoi Secondary School, but also serves as an educational activity to instill a sense of green living, love for nature, and community responsibility in students. Each tree planted today is a green sprout of faith, of the pioneering spirit, volunteerism, and aspiration to build an increasingly beautiful homeland.

Choosing to plant trumpet trees in the school grounds also carries significant meaning. When in bloom, the trumpet tree canopies create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the beauty of the students' learning environment. This also symbolizes the youthful vitality, resilience, and upward striving spirit of today's young generation.

Youth union members and young people participated in tree planting activities as part of the launching ceremony of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and in response to the Month of Action for Children in 2026.

The Organizing Committee hopes to strongly promote the movement of planting and caring for trees, building friendly schools, and at the same time, awaken in union members and young people the awareness of preserving the living environment through specific and practical actions.

After being handed over, the "Youth Tree Planting" project will continue to be maintained and cared for regularly by units, schools, youth union members, and students.

Tree care will be integrated into the "Green Sunday" movement, creating a regular and practical activity to preserve the environmental landscape and build a green lifestyle in schools and residential communities.
