The four houses were handed over to the families of Lo Van Dan, Trang A Chu, Vang A Ngap (Pom Bo village); Lo Van Thang (Phieng Cam village), all of whom are poor households with extremely difficult circumstances in Muong Cang commune, Than Uyen district. The houses were built with a total cost of 240 million VND, drawn from the resources mobilized by Lai Chau Provincial Police and benefactors with a support level of 60 million VND/house.
Leaders of the Economic Security Department and local Party Committee and authorities handed over a house of gratitude and gave gifts to Mr. Trang A Chu's family.
This is an activity within the peak period of 60 days and nights to build 100 houses of gratitude with the slogan "When people need, when people are in trouble, there is the police" and "Orders from the heart of soldiers" and the hearts of benefactors. During the implementation process, officers and soldiers of the Economic Security Department closely coordinated with the Muong Cang commune government and the local police to dismantle old houses, transport materials, organize construction and supervise the quality of the project. Thanks to that, the houses were completed on schedule, ensuring quality and promptly handed over before the rainy season.
Leaders, officers and soldiers of the Economic Security Department, together with local Party Committee and authorities, handed over the "charity" house and gave gifts to Mr. Vang A Ngap's family.
The inauguration and handover of the gratitude houses not only has the meaning of practical material support, but also a source of profound spiritual encouragement, demonstrating the image of police officers close to the people, serving the people, contributing to realizing the goal of "leaving no one behind" in the journey of sustainable development of Lai Chau province.
