In our province, emulation movements such as: "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025", " Tuyen Quang joins hands to build new rural areas", "Good workers, Creative workers", "Emulation to teach well - study well" ... have become the driving force to promote the spirit of emulation and solidarity among all classes of people. Through these movements, many simple but influential examples have been discovered and promptly commended.

Mr. Tran Duc Tap, a worker at the equipment management and repair workshop at Tuyen Quang Iron and Steel Company Limited, is one of 50 outstanding workers awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Federation of Labor for his outstanding achievements in production and work in the period of 2022-2025. At work, he always strictly complies with regulations on labor safety and hygiene; enthusiastically helps colleagues; proactively maintains and repairs machinery and equipment according to technical procedures, ensuring production progress and quality. Mr. Tran Van Trang, Head of Doan Ket 2 Village, Thanh Long Commune (Ham Yen) is a typical example in the movement "Tuyen Quang joins hands to build new countryside". As the "conductor" of the movement in the locality, he has promoted and mobilized people to contribute efforts and funds to complete 6.5 km of rural concrete roads, build cultural houses, and support 10 households to remove temporary houses. At the same time, he also encouraged people to effectively maintain the cucumber growing model, contributing to increasing people's income. Mr. Trang's contributions helped Thanh Long commune complete 19/19 new rural criteria. With his positive contributions, Mr. Trang was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Le Quang Huy, a 12th grade English major student at Tuyen Quang High School for the Gifted, is the pride of the province'seducation sector, scoring 1,560/1,600 points on the SAT exam, placing him in the top 1% in the world. With this outstanding achievement, he was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Huy shared: "The province's timely attention and recognition is a great source of encouragement for me. The award not only motivates me personally but also inspires other students to work hard to study, continue their dreams, and contribute to the development of their homeland and country."

Praise the right people, promptly and genuinely

In 2024, the whole province had more than 1,668 collectives and individuals being commended at the provincial level. Of which, 834/968 commended individuals were direct workers, accounting for nearly 86.2% of the total number of commended individuals.

In particular, the unexpected rewards are given attention, timely, the procedures are implemented quickly, neatly, in accordance with regulations, ensuring publicity and transparency, contributing to creating strong emulation motivation, spreading positive values ​​in the community. Individuals with special achievements are encouraged promptly, creating a huge ripple effect from public opinion. For example, the example of Captain Luc Van Nguyen, a police officer of Yen Thuan commune and Mr. Lieu Van Quyet, in Cau Treo village, Yen Thuan commune (Ham Yen) bravely saved people swept away by floodwaters on September 8, 2024; or Le Quang Huy, a 12th grade English major student at Tuyen Quang High School for the Gifted, excellently achieved 1,560/1,600 points in the SAT exam, in the top 1% of the world.

According to Mr. Tran Van Tien, Head of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board, in recent years, the province's emulation and reward work has always closely followed the requirements of innovation, aiming for real effectiveness associated with political tasks and work efficiency. In particular, focusing on timely rewards, right people, right work, especially direct workers, they are the center of emulation movements.

In the coming time, in parallel with discovering, nurturing and replicating advanced models, Tuyen Quang province will continue to promote patriotic emulation work associated with the tasks of socio-economic development, building a clean and strong Party and political system. At the same time, continue to innovate the content and form of organizing emulation; timely, public and transparent rewards, contributing to creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, encouraging and motivating people of all walks of life to enthusiastically compete to achieve new achievements.
