In the joyful, proud, happy and excited atmosphere of the Party Committee, the government and the people of all ethnic groups in Bac Ninh province, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee solemnly organized a special art program to celebrate the great event of the establishment of the new Bac Ninh province - a historical milestone opening a new development path full of expectations, carrying with it the strong aspirations of the cultural land on both sides of the Cau River.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, I would like to send to the leaders, delegates, distinguished guests, and all the people my warm welcome, deep gratitude, and wishes for health, happiness, and success.

Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac has been a land of talented people for thousands of years, the origin of Lac Viet civilization, associated with the legend of the Ancestor Kinh Duong Vuong; the homeland of the Ly dynasty - the dynasty that built and developed the glorious Dai Viet civilization; the "fence" guarding the North of the thousand-year-old capital Thang Long - Dong Do - Hanoi .
History has recorded the glorious victories of this land: From the battle of Nhu Nguyet in 1077 with the first declaration of independence "Nam Quoc Son Ha" (The heroic mountains and rivers of the South); to the victory of Xuong Giang in 1427 which contributed to the end of the domination of the Ming invaders; or the Yen The uprising led by De Tham which demonstrated the indomitable spirit of the nation. Those victories are shining symbols of the passionate patriotism, the steadfast spirit, and the indomitable will of the Kinh Bac people.
Not only a hero in the history of building and defending the country, Kinh Bac is also a land of culture and mandarin examinations, a place where the quintessence of the nation has crystallized through many generations. The folk song: " A basket of students, a basket of mandarins, a pile of mandarins, a raft of doctors, a bag of first-class candidates, a boat of second-class candidates " has partly depicted the tradition of studiousness, respect for morality and the spirit of learning of the people here.

Bac Ninh is proud to be the birthplace of many famous people and heroes - outstanding intellectuals who have contributed to the glory of the country's culture and academics. It is from this land that the flow of knowledge and the spirit of patriotism and love for the people have continuously spread, leaving a deep mark in the history of building, defending and developing the country.
In particular, Bac Ninh is the cradle of Quan Ho folk songs, Ca Tru, Then singing practice of the Thai - Tay - Nung people, the worship of the Mother Goddess of the Three Palaces, unique art forms that have been recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, along with a massive system of historical and cultural relics such as: Dau Pagoda, Do Temple, But Thap Pagoda, Phat Tich Pagoda, Bo Da Pagoda, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda..., hundreds of traditional craft villages and a rich treasure of folk culture, all of which form a sustainable, vibrant and unique Kinh Bac culture.

Over the past years, the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang have made constant efforts to become dynamic growth poles of the Northern key economic region. The development process of the two provinces is a clear demonstration of the spirit of innovation, creativity, solidarity and strong aspirations.
The establishment of the new Bac Ninh province not only has profound political and administrative significance but also opens up a large, sustainable and comprehensive development space. The new Bac Ninh province has an area of 4,718 km², a population of over 3.6 million people, with 99 communes and wards. The economic scale is estimated at nearly 440,000 billion VND - ranking 5th nationwide, being the northeastern gateway of the capital Hanoi, connecting the development triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh and the midland and mountainous areas of the North.
With its new strategic position, Bac Ninh province will be a modern industrial - urban - service - trade - logistics center, the growth engine of the region and the whole country. This is also an opportunity for us to affirm our aspirations, political determination and responsibility to the people in building Bac Ninh into a centrally-governed city before 2030.

The merger is the starting point for a new journey - a journey of inheritance, innovation and breakthrough development. And in that journey, each citizen will be a nucleus of creativity, a subject of innovation, and a person who continues to write the glorious history of the homeland.
Today's art program "Bac Ninh - a thousand years of culture - Aspiration to rise in the new era" is a tribute to previous generations, a symphony of pride, faith and aspiration, a testament to a Bac Ninh that is steadily integrating and developing.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, I would like to sincerely thank the Central Party Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, the Central ministries, branches, localities nationwide, especially the people inside and outside the province who have and will continue to join hands and unite for the strong development of the province in the coming time.
