(Hoa Binh Today) - According to information from the authorities, the People's Procuracy of Hoa Binh City has approved the decision to initiate a criminal case and prosecute two individuals for the act of "organizing illegal street racing" as requested by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Hoa Binh City Police.


The Investigation Police Department of Hoa Binh City Police served the Decision to initiate criminal proceedings and indict Vu Hoai Nam.

Accordingly, the Investigation Police Department of Hoa Binh City Police has decided to initiate a criminal case and prosecute Vu Hoai Nam (born in 2001), residing in Huu Nghi Ward, and Nguyen Le Cuong (born in 2007), residing in Trung Minh Ward, for the crime of "organizing illegal street racing".

Previously, based on a tip-off from the public regarding a group of six young men engaging in illegal street racing on Tran Hung Dao Street in Phuong Lam Ward (the criminal act was recorded and a 13-second video clip was posted on several social media sites. The video clip shows one person signaling to the other five young men sitting on motorcycles, preparing to race).

After receiving a crime report along with accompanying documents and video clips, the Hoa Binh City Police directed its investigative team to coordinate with other units to verify and clarify the matter. The city police summoned the individuals involved to the police station for questioning. During the investigation, the authorities identified and clarified that the masterminds and ringleaders were Vu Hoai Nam and Nguyen Le Cuong.

Currently, the relevant authorities are finalizing the case file for processing according to the law.
