Proud of 75 years of tradition of the Youth Volunteer Force

On the morning of June 30, the Association of Former Youth Volunteers (TNXP) of Hoa Binh province held a ceremony to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Volunteers (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2025) and a meeting to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Hoa Binh province (September 23, 2005 - September 23, 2025). Comrade Vu Trong Kim, President of the Central Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Vietnam attended the ceremony.

Comrade Vu Trong Kim, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, presented certificates of merit to two groups with achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the tradition of the Vietnam Youth Volunteers.

On behalf of the Provincial Youth Volunteer Veterans Association, the leaders of the Hoa Binh Provincial Youth Volunteer Veterans Association awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to 4 collectives with outstanding achievements in the work of the Provincial Youth Volunteer Veterans Association.

The Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Hoa Binh province was established on September 23, 2005, currently has 2,819 members. Over the years, members have always set good examples and actively contributed to the socio -economic development of the locality. With their roles, prestige and experience participating in the battlefields, former Youth Volunteers are typical factors in the models of "Self-managed inter-family groups", "Families of Former Youth Volunteers without anyone violating the law and social evils"... Former Youth Volunteers are the backbone of civil defense groups and self-managed groups, contributing to the effective resolution of incidents, ensuring security and order at the grassroots level with the models of "Social Volunteer Team" and "Peaceful Villages without Crime and Social Evils".

For the movement to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas, many members have donated land to build roads, with thousands of square meters of land to build rural roads worth hundreds of millions of dong. The movement to do good economics is increasingly developing, helping many members escape poverty sustainably through specific actions such as helping each other with capital, seedlings, production experience, solving employment, praising and honoring former Youth Volunteers who have risen out of poverty...

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the tradition of the Youth Volunteer Force, its contributions to the resistance war against France and the US, healing the wounds of war, building and defending the Fatherland. With many outstanding achievements in serving in opening roads, transporting ammunition, transporting goods, carrying wounded, participating in many battles and campaigns... Youth Volunteer Force is an important force contributing to the victory of the struggle for national liberation as well as in protecting and building the country. Over the past 75 years, the Vietnamese Youth Volunteer Force has been a brilliant symbol of revolutionary heroism and patriotism of the youth.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association awarded certificates of merit to 2 groups and 6 individuals with achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Association's tradition; and awarded the "Vietnam Veterans Association" commemorative medal to 50 comrades. The Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented a souvenir flag to the Provincial Veterans Association. The Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Hoa Binh Provincial Veterans Association.
