Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy changes Bau Duc's strategy: No contract signing until age 28

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy continues to carry out a particularly important revolution for LPBank HAGL Academy, with the key point of only signing contracts until the age of 24 to attract talent.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Loc Phat Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank had a meeting with Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc - Chairman of the Board of Directors of HAGL Joint Stock Company on focusing on investing in upgrading LPBank HAGL Academy to become a national football talent training center to contribute to the strong and sustainable development of Vietnamese football.

As a result, Mr. Thuy and Mr. Duc agreed: "In order to attract talented young players to join LPBank HAGL Academy, and at the same time create conditions for players to seek career development opportunities, from August 22, 2024, the academy will sign training contracts for new students with the provision of serving HAGL Club after completing the training program until the age of 24 (instead of the age of 28 as in the previous training contract). The academy will upgrade facilities and training grounds; build new tactical analysis rooms, sports medicine rooms, hyperbaric oxygen chambers to restore physical strength for players after training sessions and competitions... In parallel with upgrading facilities, LPBank HAGL Academy will promote digitalization, deploy youth training curriculum (Tactical Pad) meeting AFC standards for coaches and students.

The Academy will continue to promote its strengths in academic training, improve English proficiency and pay special attentionto educating young players on moral qualities, honesty and fair-play spirit". This is considered an extremely important revolutionary first step by Mr. Thuy and Mr. Duc, helping LPBank HAGL Academy increase its attractiveness, as parents will no longer be concerned about the contribution clause until the age of 28. From there, LPBank HAGL Academy will have an extremely large advantage, helping families prioritize sending their children to the youth academy that has just won the national U.21 championship, rest assured that their children will receive comprehensive training from culture to football, and will soon receive contract fees from the age of 24, among the earliest among youth training academies in Vietnam.
