The donated vase is the same object as the vase currently being kept and displayed at Uncle Ho's Stilt House - the place where President Ho Chi Minh lived during the last 11 years of his life (1958-1969).

The vase is made of transparent white glass, octagonal in shape, with a flared mouth. From the mouth to the bottom of the vase, there are 8 raised edges forming 8 equal segments. The bottom and sides are embossed with images of leaves and two birds. The height of the vase is 25cm, the base is 1.2cm high. During his lifetime, the vase was placed on the desk of the bedroom on the 2nd floor of President Ho Chi Minh's stilt house to display flowers from the garden.

According to Mr. Vu Thanh Tung, the vase that was donated this time has been preserved by his family for many generations. This vase was left by his grandfather, with the same design, material and pattern as the vase that Uncle Ho used at the Stilt House. Therefore, the family wishes to donate it to the Relic Site for preservation and display, promoting its value on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
