“Traffic Kids – Green Summer”: A special mark in the hearts of children and parents

In the last days of June, although the weather was not favorable and it was raining, the "little warriors" at the event "Traffic Babies - Green Summer" organized by Kiness Vietnam in coordination with the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) did not falter, still walked through the intersection and shouted slogans, leaving many positive impressions on traffic participants.

From the first days of being guided by traffic police officers to wear helmets properly, learn to recognize traffic signs, experience being a child police officer at Kizciti vocational city until confidently shouting the slogan "Traffic safety means no accidents" at crowded intersections, the children have truly matured through each activity.

It was raining but the children were still very excited to participate in traffic safety propaganda at a major intersection.

More than just an extracurricular program, “Traffic Kids – Green Summer” has become a short but valuable journey. There, children not only learn how to protect themselves when participating in traffic, but also learn how to observe, share and proactively contribute to the community.

“I felt very happy when the traffic police led me to the other side of the road. I shouted the slogan “Traffic safety means no accidents” for the other road users to hear,” a child excitedly shared after the practical propaganda session within the framework of the program “Traffic Children – Green Summer”. With just that innocent and pure sentence, we can feel the joy, pride and sense of responsibility that has begun to form in the children’s minds.

“Educating children about traffic safety from an early age will help them have the skills to protect themselves when they go out on the street, because children today are very active. So having such skills will help children be safer when they go out on the street,” a parent shared about the importance of educating children about traffic safety from an early age when letting their children participate in the program “Traffic Baby – Green Summer” of Kiness Vietnam.

After just a few sessions, parents have clearly seen the changes in their children, now they know how to cross the intersection properly, even clearly repeat the signs that the police officers have taught. Parents themselves will also see the meaningful actions of their children and from there adjust the way they participate in traffic in the safest way.
