Tomorrow afternoon (July 4): Hanoi will announce the entrance exam scores for grade 10 public schools

As planned, tomorrow afternoon (July 4), the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DET) will announce the entrance exam scores for grade 10 public schools for the 2025-2026 school year.

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the city's Examination Council for the 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools in the 2025-2026 school year has completed the marking process. It is expected that on the afternoon of July 4, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the 10th grade entrance exam scores.

Candidates can also look up exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 on the Hanoi Department of Education and Training's Electronic Information Portal at https://hanoi.edu.vn or the city's Primary Admissions Information Portal at https://tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn.

Also on July 4, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will hold a meeting to review the admission scores for grade 10 of each public high school for the 2025-2026 school year.

According to the plan, from July 7 to July 9, schools will return application documents and admission exam results for grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year to students.

Before July 10, schools will receive appeal applications, submit appeal applications and lists of students to the Department of Education and Training. From July 10 to 12, high schools, vocationaleducation and continuing education centers, and vocational education institutions will organize admission confirmation.

On July 17, the Department of Education and Training and specialized high schools and public high schools will meet to approve additional admission scores for public grade 10 (if any). From July 19 to 22, schools will organize admission confirmation and receive additional admission applications (if any).

One of the notable new points in this year's 10th grade entrance exam is the adjustment of the way the admission score is calculated. Instead of multiplying the coefficient by 2 for Math and Literature as in previous years; in 2025, the admission score will be the total score of 3 subjects (Math, Literature, Foreign Language), each subject is calculated on a 10-point scale and does not have a coefficient. This calculation method aims to ensure fairness between subjects and encourage students to study all subjects equally.
